Conflux

This building has been called many things – the 30253 Building, The Mural Building, Next Door, The Rental Space, The Overflow, The Annex, etc.  It is all these things but we would like to merge all of these and give it an official name –  CONFLUX.

This building was initially acquired for the purpose of overflow and storage for Queen Bee Coffee.  Almost immediately, we were approached with a request to rent it out for a private event.  This was followed with modifications to maximize its functionality for a plethora of uses.

On most days, it is used for overflow space when the coffee shop gets crowded.  It’s a perfect place to accomplish tasks while keeping an eye on the happenings of Griffin Street through our huge windows.  Groups love it as a place to study, play a game or brainstorm the next big project. There is public parking at the Baptist Church so don’t panic if our tiny lot is full.  (It’s probably a good idea to check the calendar to be sure the space is available before you head our way.)  Please don’t plan “events” that monopolize or take advantage of our space and good nature.

As a rental venue, the building has hosted baby showers, Bible studies, small dinners, business meetings, birthday and graduation parties, and even a wedding reception.  Conflux holds 40 comfortably.  It is well equipped with tables, chairs, sofas, a whiteboard, audio system, & projector/screen. While there is no proper kitchen, there is a room suitable for food prepping, staging & display.  We welcome outside food vendors for your catering needs. We DO NOT welcome glitter, confetti, or the like.  Keep that stuff AWAY!  If you’d like to rent Conflux, check your date to be sure it is available on our calendar then submit your request.  Give us a day or two to respond.  We’ll get back to you with a contract and an invoice.  You’ll be all set.
