You are going to LOVE hosting your event at Conflux! It is bigger than your living room but small enough to be cozy.
We hope the booking process is super fluid and the easiest part of your planning.
Here are some things you will find helpful.
- Conflux is approved for 50 people max but we think 40 is more comfortable. There are seats for 32.
- Parking is available on the street and in the lot at the Baptist Church. Please do not park in the Queen Bee lot.
- We book the space in 4 hour time blocks. This gives you plenty of time to set up, host your event, and clean up. Each block is $350. If you feel you need more time, you can add additional hours at a rate of $75 per hour. All day & multi-day events can be negotiated. Your card will be charged at the time of booking. Should you need to cancel your reservation, there will be a financial penalty to the consider so please make sure you plan your event well. Don’t stress! We will review the specifics during your booking process and the specifics are clearly described in the rental contract.
- You are welcome to bring in outside food. There is no approved vendor list but we are happy to make recommendations of local providers. We are equipped to provide coffee service and pastries in house as well.
- The room provides 5 wood top tables with stools, 1 large glass top table with stools, 2 sofas, 2 chairs and a church pew. This offers a total of 32 seats. We also have antique wooden folding chairs if you need extra seating. The furniture can be rearranged by Conflux staff only and must be requested at the time of booking. Elaborate re-arranging (ie: moving that church pew!) may incur additional charges.
- You may decorate the space. Please use command strips rather than tape or pins in the walls. Pins in the rafters are fine. We are happy to remove our prints, just ask. (We are kind of particular about them.) Do not under any circumstance bring in glitter or confetti. That’s a HUGE no-no and you will be billed for it. I promise. Whatever you bring in, we need you to take out. You can use the dumpster behind the Queen Bee lot for your trash.
- You are renting the Conflux building only. If you need to spill out into the yard with tents or tables or games, please designate that on your request form so we can discuss additional fees. There is an audio system in the building so you may bring your own playlist and adapter/cord and plug into the existing system. There is a whiteboard available as well. If you need the projector, please denote that on your form as that does have an additional fee.
